Well known archaeologist Dr.S.Suresh gave us a guided tour, of the five Rathas, Arjuna’s Penance and the Cave Temples at Mamallapuram. We were also shown an unfinished Vijayanagara architectural Sculpture. A few important sculptures that ought to be reproduced in the form of garden sculptures for Revival of Pallava Art were also noted. Public abuse of monument and pollution in the locality were taken note of.
